I don't know which category to place this in, but endgadget is reporting that HTC is going to release a UMPC like Windows Mobile device codenamed "Mobile Office Device". This device reportedly is going to have a 7" screen which places it closer into the UMPC category, but will be running Windows Mobile.

Whatever happened to the Pocket PC category? You know Axims, iPaq, and the like? Why create these big Windows Mobile devices? Stick with the UMPC running a full OS like Vista, and use Windows Mobile for PDA or phone sized devices.
