Maybe you remember this application, Microsoft Portrait enables video communication using your Windows Mobile device. I thought for a while this was dead, but it looks like it's not. Last week Microsoft Research posted an update to the software to support Windows Mobile 2005.

It has integration with MSN Messenger allowing you to place a call from your buddy list.

Plug in your CF or SD cam, and you're good to go.
