We kind of got a look at this application on the screen of the Medion RIM 1000 UMPC, but now it has been officially announced via the OrigamiProject.com weblog.

Origami Experience replaces the Program Launcher application for the UMPC when they first came out in mid-2006.

This looks to be a major improvement over Program Launcher by providing integration with Media Player APIs, and in overall appearance.

Origami Experience is available for Vista UMPCs and will be available for download in late January.
