It looks like Tatung is producing a UMPC/Pocket PC device that runs Windows Mobile.Via Carrypad UMPC Journal, there are pictures posted of a new UMPC/Windows Mobile device. From the pictures it runs Windows Mobile, but could this be a dual boot device? It appears to be similar to the HTC Athena we blogged about earlier. We'll have to wait for the CES to find out more.

Free is a great word, and free is this screen capture software released by Ilium Software. It allows you to take timer based screen shots within your Windows Mobile device. No need to be hooked up to a PC and using some virtual software.

It was in rumor mode earlier in the week, but it appears to be true. HTC Athena (X7500) appears to be more like a UMPC but the pictures show the device running Windows Mobile. Either way, it looks to be a pretty nice device. More pictures are available at http://pdaclub.pl/view.php?news_id=12291

The AP is reporting that Microsoft will be releasing for download (it's actually available for download today) AURA which stands for Advanced User Resource Annotation system. The software enables consumers to take snapshots of bar codes from products which would then be sent to AURA, the software would then return information about that product.
